Today has been pretty slow. I woke up at around 9am and watched TV for a bit. I also played a bit of Condemned but other than that I haven’t done much. Tomorrow I have work which I will (hopefully) be able to pick up my next paycheck. Saturday is also a work day which means I work two of the busiest days of the week. Hopefully I don’t end up on register. I like anything but working on the register. I’ll get Sunday off but then go back in on Monday. Hopefully everything goes smooth. All I know is that July needs to come on over so I can get Civilization Revolutions and spend my days conquering the world. Sounds like a good plan.

I haven’t really been in the mood lately to write up anything so that’s why there hasn’t been much in the past week or so. Life is being a pain in the ass and the last two days of work have stressed me the fuck out. Other than that I have just been home dragging myself along getting horrible amounts of sleep. Although I did pick up Lego Indiana Jones on Tuesday. It is awesome just like Lego Star Wars. Makes good fun of the original films and ties it up pretty well. Some of my favorite parts from the movies fit well into the game which made me extra happy. I also downloaded the demo for Civilization Revolution. It is going to rock when it comes out in July. I’ve been playing Civilization IV on the PC for the last few weeks like crack. I just love building up and fucking shit up.

As for work, Wednesday was pretty hectic. It was surprisingly busy when I got to work and had to shuffle about at the main register (I hate being the main). A select few customers annoyed the living shit out of me and made life tough. After it slowed down a bit I managed to finish up my duties early which made me happy. As for yesterday (Thursday), I wanted to kill people. I had two people early on that needed complete voids which slowed me down being I was the only register in the front again. The other new girl tried to help by rushing over to cosmetics (her new area) to open up and ring up people, but the lazy fucks didn’t go over and instead stayed in line and complained about how slow it was. I was about to blow but I kept it together. After the initial rush I managed to get things back in order. Unlucky for me this continued for most of the night until the last hour we were open. Then it tapered off and things got easy. I did my duties and we headed home. I had a day added to my schedule (this Saturday) so I have to go in tomorrow so I can get training for photo which I will be transferring to soon. Should be interesting. I can easily joke around with most of the photo team. As for next week I only work two or three days so it should be a relaxing week, which is a blessing.

2007 was a crazy year. Many things have happened and each moment had some form of meaning. From the surprises to the failures, it has been one hell of a year. So many new things in what seemed as such little time. Transitioning from a high school student to an adult in college. With so many things it is hard to choose a single place to begin, so lets look back and remember the past year.

Note: It is not my intention to offend anyone. I am just giving the details of events from my point of view or from what I remember.
