Monthly Archives: August 2007

Ever since school started it has been crazy. I am always out of the house and most of that time is towards school, sadly. I don’t mind Monday’s and Wednesday’s, yet. They are short and I can deal with them pretty easily and it leaves a good deal of time left in the day to do things. Although that will change come November when I have some writing lab to do which is pretty bullshit. Then I will have to stay until 3:30 or something instead of my normal 1:05. My ultra long Tuesday’s and Thursday’s will stay the same, just a little more packed in the breaks with both writing and math labs. I’m hoping to finish the math lab hours before the writing lab starts but I haven’t cared to go in yet to do my hours. I’m going to try to put two hours in tomorrow during my breaks to get last week’s done along with this week’s. Hopefully I can do it without wanting to kill myself. I hate math and I barely want to do it at home. Other than those things it is going somewhat smoothly for me.

Going along with the thought of school in mind, I have seen differences in people since started. Little changes gradually growing. It’s interesting.

Maybe I’m too observant.

For one, I have the long school day tomorrow and two, Heroes Season 1 comes out on DVD tomorrow.

Don’t expect much out of me. :)

Yes, you read that right. I did four pages of homework tonight and some career planning workbook crap. Not much fun and my hand hurts. Also, where did my three day weekend go. Back to school tomorrow for the lose.

You should have noticed that I haven’t posted very much about school and that I really haven’t posted much at all in the last week or so. College has been sucking my life away along with other things I have been doing. I am barely home these days and have been out until late at night. I guess I can talk about my classes now since I have some time on my hands.

The first class I have for the week is economics. The teacher is a former businessman who just happens to ride a motorcycle. He likes to joke a little bit, but not too much. Seems like a fun guy and the class looks like it will be interesting. I only know one person in the class, which is good considering that it is the only one of my classes not at the main campus.

Next is math. The math teacher gets to the point and goes in to detail about whatever he happens to be teaching that day. So far we are doing basic shit so I usually just want to go to sleep. We also get homework everyday which kind of sucks, but apparently it is not required. Whatever.

My English class is not a usual English class. It is more focused on writing than anything else and later on in the semester we get a nice six hour a week lab that is required and not to mention we have to take a test and get a damn good grade to even get credit for the course. The teacher is your average old lady English teacher. We’ll see how that works out.

And finally there is my career planning class which seems like it will be the most interesting and entertaining one of the semester. The teacher is full German. Born there and everything. He speaks English as his second language but speaks it without an accent or anything. Funny guy who can mix humor with serious talk pretty easily. Even though the class is late in the day I look forward to it on those days.

That’s about it for now. I’ll try and conjure up a story for you people in a bit.

If you want an in depth post.

Don’t lock thy self out of thy vehicle.

…is different.

Tomorrow is the first day of my college experience. Here’s to hoping it doesn’t suck. Hopefully all goes smoothly and I won’t get some fifty page project or something. My first class of the year will be economics, well macroeconomics according to my text books. After that I get to drive down to the main campus (as the economics class is in town) and burn brain cells in algebra which I sadly have all four days of my school weeks. On Tuesday I get English, followed by algebra as stated above, and then counsel, which is supposed to be some career planning class but it sure as hell doesn’t sound like one. So to summarize, Monday and Wednesday is economics in town and algebra at the main campus. Tuesday and Thursday I have English, algebra, and counsel all at the main campus. These next few months should prove interesting.

I also hope I have everything I need for tomorrow.

I just got down watching Hot Fuzz again and I got my car today.

Let’s hope the don’t burn down to three.
