This afternoon I headed out to get a part for my car. It apparently prevents bad crap from entering the air. Whatever. After I got back I prepared to watch the Super Bowl. It was a good game. I am glad the Giants beat the fuck out of Brady and his posse. Good times.

The last few days have been a bit odd. It kind of fits I guess since my vacation is coming to an end. Since the 360 is broken and shipped off I have mainly been on the PC doing all kinds of things.
Friday I woke up and wasted as much time as possible so Cloverfield would come faster. At about 10:15am I headed out to the theater to meet up with Andrew. We were going to the 11am showing (first of the day) to beat the crowds, mainly high school kids who all had finals which meant they would be getting our around 12 and 1pm. When I got there there were only a few cars in the parking lot. I waited for Andrew to show up and then we went in and got seats in the back row. While we were waiting we talked about Call of Duty 4. Once the previews started the first one reminded me of Hellboy. I turned to Andrew and told him that the second one was coming out later this year. I turned back to the screen and then saw Hellboy on the screen and was like “motherfucker.” It was the Hellboy 2 trailer. During the second trailer, for the movie 21, I chomped down on a gummy worm and chipped a tiny piece of my front right tooth. Nothing major but it still pissed me off. I plan to have the dentist check it out when I go the next time (whenever that is). Moving back to the movie, it was awesome. Plain and simple on of the coolest and creative movies I have seen. From start to finish it kept me engaged. Andrew seemed to get freaked at some parts with his “Holy shit” and “What the fuck” moments. I just laughed in my head. After the movie I headed home and dicked around on the computer. UPS dropped off the coffin for the Xbox 360 so I packed it up and dropped it off at the UPS store were the truck came just as I was leaving. I went home and then watched Stargate Atlantis.
I woke up Saturday morning around the same time as the day before. This time I was taking my brother to see Cloverfield. We headed over again, beating the crowds. Same trailers, same seats. My brother was a little less dramatic as Andrew but it was close. During the movie he told me that I can die in a fire and that he plans to get the DVD. I told him that we’ll see about it. After the movie I got home to an empty house. The parents were out and about and a little later my brother headed off to a friends house. I proceeded to do the usual internet things when I got a message from a Shacker to play Team Fortress 2. I never played it online before so I was a bit hesitant. I got the server info and jumped in. I chose the Pyro first to give it a shot. Turns out I suck with that class so I went Soldier. I got some good kills and the class seems to work with me. I got better as the day progressed and I made sure to tell Tammi that if I get obsessed with it she has to either beat me senseless or kill me. I do not want to get sucked in a game with school around the corner. After a few hours of that I IMed for the rest of the night.
This morning I fired up Team Fortress 2 and played a few rounds. Once I was done with that I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Around 3:30pm I headed downstairs to watch the NFC Championship game. I was rooting for the Packers but the stupid Giants kicker saved his career in overtime. Fucker. After the game I reinstalled Oblivion but left out the mods this time (at least until I find a good, stable one so I don’t have to do my multi-disk reinstall being as I don’t have the one DVD GOTY pack). Now I’m just IMing and Shacking.
Tomorrow is my last day of vacation, sadly. I will be preparing for school (mainly English since it will be the only class I go to on Tuesday). Got to pack the car with my books, prepare binders, and get the parking pass in the glove box. I’ll probably also be playing Oblivion and Team Fortress 2. Other than that I don’t know. Got to return to the mindset of school so I don’t fall asleep in class like last semester. Like that will work.
Even though I lost every game prior I managed to pull it together and (barely) make it through the Wild Card elimination of the ShackLeague. The first half was total domination by the Sacramento Annihilators. By halftime it was 28-6. Nashville, my opposition, threw interceptions throughout. But by the second half the tides turned in favor of the Werewolves. I threw a few interceptions. It seemed as if the curse was back. I managed to slow the comeback down a bit. Fourth quarter, everything on the line. I charge their offense to stop them from tying. INTERCEPTION! My offense comes out and gives it their all. I stomp the grounds as I take their air flight all the way down the field to score. I felt safe with a 14 point lead. Then the Werewolves managed to get a miracle play together and rush the field for a TD. They went for the onside. I grab it out of the air and burn the clock. Victory is mine. I know head to Long Beach where it matters. Big team and big consequences. The winner moves into the Divisional Championship. Then it is to the Shack Lime Bowl.
Everything is on the line. The Sacramento Annihilators won’t go down without a fight.
I have no clue where today went. Seriously. It just happened.
Last night was epic. Those certain moments left me speechless and I was happily surprised. But that’s not something I’m going to talk about. We’re talking about today, so here it is.
This morning my plan was to wake up and finish up the math homework. Didn’t go quite as planned as I stayed in bed until 8am. Then I got up and took a shower to get ready. Left the house at 8:55am and headed down to the campus. English was boring enough to send me to sleep within minutes of the teacher opening her mouth. Surprisingly I was only asked upon once to answer a question and when the class ended two of the other people in the class commented about me sleeping and were jealous of my evading the teacher’s wrath. I’m fucking cool like that. Since we were out early so the others could work on the lab I headed to grab my math crap. I finished it up in the lab and had forty-five minutes to spare so I called Ashlee and we talked until it was time to head to math. I took the test and finished in about thirty minutes. This left me with two hours and thirty minutes to burn until the career planning class. I headed to the library and dicked around on my laptop for about an hour or so. Then I walked around, got some food, and then tried to figure out stuff to do. I ended up standing outside the main building for a good forty or so texting the Bako crew and then I ripped open my Dr. Pepper. While tasting the delicious flavors unleashed inside my mouth I noticed “B” walking up to go to the writing lab, or so it appeared. She noticed me standing and said “hey.” I did the same and added a question about how she was doing on the writing lab. She said that she was on the last part and asked about if it would be hard. I assured her it wasn’t very difficult and that she could add her older paragraphs to it and such. She seemed relieved and then we exchanged “byes.” I watched her in a not so stalkering way walk down the hall and as she did I quietly said “I’m going insane.” It just came out. Then the thought of All Along the Watchtower came to mind. About five minutes later another friend comes up and we talk until my last class. I headed in to it and noticed the lack of “B” in the writing lab. No questions came to mind about it as I was feeling worn out already. In career planning we got in groups and discussed how to get fired, how not to get fired, and how to get hired. Slow day. After class I headed home on the very wet freeway. It was stop and go for most of the time.
When I got home my dad was watching football and I ended up crashing and took a nap. I woke up an hour or so later and then did some computer stuff. After the football game was over I watched last night’s Life and then played some Call of Duty 4 with some Shackers. Good times. Now I’m waiting for the Bako crew to get home so we can get some laughs in before I have to suffer through the English exam tomorrow. Here’s hoping I pass that fucker.
It’s Sunday once more. This means many things. The greatest being football is back but since my Niners don’t play until tomorrow I don’t need to watch. Sunday also means that tomorrow is Monday which means that it is a school day which also means I probably have some homework. Oh wait, I do have homework. Let’s see. What could it be? Ah, yes. I have some math to finish up in preparation for Tuesday’s test. Hopefully I get a decent score on it. I just hope I don’t fuck up on the word problems. Anything else? Yep, career planning. I get to type up an essay about my dream/fantasy career. It can be anything I want. All I have to do is write about it and maybe talk about the average work day for that career. Now I just have to figure out which one of them is school safe. Oh silly me. I really don’t feel like doing the math homework today.
